Enamelled dishes were popular items of daily use throughout Europe in the first half of the twentieth century. Nowadays are not only a great decoration for rooms in vintage style, but you can still use them. Last years brought back the fashion for enameled items.
This teapot has a very nice green colour. It is great decoration for kitchen.
Was produced in the 60's in a Polish “Silesia - Rybnik” enamelware factory.
Rybnik is a city with a long tradition in Upper Silesia in Poland. History of Silesia factory dates back to 1753. Production of enamel household utensils was started here in 1885-1891. At the end of XIX century the cookware from Rybnik were known in many European states as well as America. "Silesia" enamel factory was one of the largest in Europe.
