An absolute stunner! Quite a dramatic hat, made from brown wool felt. The crown cups the back of the head, and the brim is wide with decorative stitched pleats. The right side sits low over the ear, and upturns drastically in the front, pinches, and curves to the back. Two rows of eight brown feathers sit at the front, one on top of the pinch, and one underneath. A brown veil cascades over the brim.

Condition: Good; this hat displays beautifully, but is not without flaws. The pinch of the brim has come untacked from the crown and is currently held up by a deftly placed stickpin. The veil has come untacked on the right back, and is also held in place with a pin. There is a sizable hole in the veil on top of the brim, and couple of small ones over the face. Overall, most issues with this hat can be fixed.
