This is your opportunity to choose your own color palette for a custom wool felt wrapped antler with copper leaf accents. Please select the color of leather strap you would prefer, and then in the "Note to Seller" list 1-5 colors you would like included in your color palette. You can look at the antlers I have listed in the shop for color ideas, though I do have a few more colors of wool available, so just ask if you don't see what you want and I will do my best to accommodate. I will message you before I begin with a photo of your antler and wool colors for your approval. Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to make the antler before shipping.
This one-of-a-kind piece of antler art will add a modern rustic touch to your home. Starting with a beautiful naturally shed antler from Texas or Montana, this piece will be hand crafted using the highest quality materials, bringing the yarn-wrapped antler to the next level. First I will wrap three sections of the antler with soft and fluffy 100% wool roving in your chosen color palette. My twisting motions and some warm water with natural soap will gently felt the wool onto the antler, so there is no glue and yet the thin layer of softly felted wool will stay in place. Next I will paint the antler with liquid copper leaf, so a couple strips of luminous metallic copper will continue the striped felt pattern. Finally I will make an adjustable hanging strap using brown or black deerskin leather hand-wrapped with copper wire; the cord can be used to hang the antler on the wall as a piece of art, or you can easily remove the strap and display your antler as a small sculpture--we love how they look on a stack of books.

Antler will be naturally weathered as it was found in the wild. We recommend not handling the antler by the felted sections.
